I\'m probably one of the few painters who paint the world in the lotus position. Why? Because that is the position in which I practice zazen for almost thirty years. Zazen took me to see Japanese art, calligraphy and sumi painting. The influence of Zen art is present in my art, but today Impressionism is my way of painting. I do not need teachers, I am self-taught. The technique is learned alone, the genius is within. The genius comes when there is the grand opening. I do not want anything except to take back what I spend. My paintings have a price, but not a final price. Each picture I paint comes from the spirit, if not, I discard it.


Cartoonist since the beginning, watercolorist for over twenty years, oil painter for only five. At present, I work only in oil, with a growing interest in landscape, portrait and still life. The spirit has led me to a place, L\'Ariol, in the French Pyrenees, where I found a way of painting. Pyrenean landscapes filled me, in every place I can make paintings, at different times of day, at different times of the year ... My only desire is to paint, not to sell. But I try to sell some of what I paint, my paintings would otherwise be accumulated by the dozen and even hundreds.
